Providing a voice for the entire business community of Bourton-on-the-Water

We grew from a 2020 Bourton Tourism Action Group working group, initiated by County Councillor Paul Hodgkinson.

Formed to fill the gap left by the former Chamber of Commerce, we represent Bourton-on-the-Water’s entire business ecosystem: agriculture, the Industrial Estate, local retail and services, and our visitor economy.

We bring together collaborative, action-focused people to tackle shared challenges across commerce, technology, environment, infrastructure, skills and wellbeing.

Our aims

  • Support local economic growth

  • Contribute a business insight to the Neighbourhood Development Plan

  • Share innovative ideas and best practice to help your business thrive

  • Advocate for the business community with Parish, District and County Councils

  • Build a connected, resilient local network that unlocks shared opportunities

  • Act fast to resolve short-term issues and campaign for long-term community benefits

  • Help you gain fresh perspectives, make new connections and develop new opportunities

  • A collective voice, working for everyone in Bourton-on-the-Water and surrounding areas.

Andrew has owned The Old New Inn and Model Village in Bourton-on-the-Water, since 2018,  which he and his wife Julie have lovingly brought back to life after many years of neglect. He was instrumental in founding BBN in 2020 and has been instrumental in supporting the wider business community throughout the village. A life time career in hospitality at senior and director level for the past 20 years, most of which spent living in the Cotswolds, Andrew brings a wealth of experience in the tourism field, and is a keen advocate for supporting the business community across the wider north Cotswolds.

Allan Hymers

Andrew Lund-Yates

I’ve spent more than 25 years working across hospitality, consumer goods, and the third sector. I'm currently Chief Operating Officer at WWF-UK, having previously led operations at the RSPCA, Costa Coffee and Whitbread. I love helping organisations change for the better, one step at a time, and tackling big challenges.  I am excited about being a Director of BBN and working with the local community to benefit everyone.

John Kerslake

Ricky has been the owner of Fresh for Lunch in Bourton-on-the-Water since 2021 and has enjoyed working in the community, employing local people and serving our many local customers.  This follows a career in hospitality working across the Cotswolds.  He looks forward to seeing Bourton Business Network grow to represent all businesses in the village.
